Our Review of Florentine

Florentine is one of the standout restaurants at Forum Marbella, and it's a genuinely special place for a family lunch or early dinner. The interior is stunning — think 1970s Italian glamour with handmade Murano glass lamps, rich fabrics, and a mirrored staircase that makes the whole place feel like a scene from a film. The outdoor terrace is just as good, especially the rooftop level (Cielo) with views towards La Concha.

The food is proper Italian. Handmade pasta, Neapolitan-style pizza with slow-fermented dough, excellent carpaccio, and dishes designed for sharing family-style — which is exactly how we like to eat with the kids. The atmosphere is cosy and warm without being stuffy, and the staff are welcoming with children. They have a kids' menu too, so the little ones are well catered for.

One important thing to know: children are welcome during the day and early evening, but it's adults only after 9pm when it shifts into more of a late-night dining and cocktail vibe. So plan for a lunch or early sitting if you're bringing the family. It's not cheap — this is Golden Mile pricing — but for a special meal out it's worth it.
