Marbella with Kids is the family guide we wished existed when we first moved to the Costa del Sol with young children. Born from real experience — the frantic Google searches for “best beach for toddlers near Marbella,” the trial-and-error of finding a decent paediatrician, the slow discovery of hidden playgrounds — this site is our way of making life easier for the next family who arrives here wondering where to start.

Why we built this

The Costa del Sol is one of the best places in Europe to raise a family. Three hundred days of sunshine, affordable living, excellent international schools, and a quality of life that is hard to beat. But finding family-friendly information in one place? That was always the challenge. Recommendations were scattered across Facebook groups, outdated blog posts, and word of mouth. We wanted something better: a curated, honest, and regularly updated directory of everything families need to know.

What makes us different

Every activity, restaurant, and recommendation on this site has been personally visited and tested by our family. We do not accept paid placements in our editorial reviews (though businesses can list themselves in our directory). We rate things honestly — if a place is not great for kids, we will say so. Our goal is to save you time and help you discover the best of what this beautiful coast has to offer.
