Our Review of Brödernas

Brödernas is a Swedish gourmet burger place on Calle Las Malvas in Nueva Andalucía — the same street as Cheat, so you're spoiled for choice on burger night. The name means "the brothers" in Swedish, and it was founded by two Swedish brothers before NHL player Mika Zibanejad joined as a partner. The burgers are named after cities — Roma, Berlin, Tokyo, New York — and each has its own flavour profile.

The food is a step up from standard fast food but still casual and affordable. Burgers are around €10-13 and the dirty fries are a must — fresh, flavourful, with a nice chilli kick. Wings, jalapeño poppers and milkshakes round out the menu. It's all very kid-friendly by nature — our lot are happy with a burger and fries here every time.

The restaurant has a cool, relaxed vibe with a nice outdoor terrace under the trees and a warm interior with exposed brick and neon lighting. It gets busy in the evenings but there's usually a table if you're not going at peak weekend time. They also do breakfast until 1pm if you're in the area in the morning — the full English on a baguette is solid.
